The exotic and densely covered tropical jungle alongside the road leading to the hidden, yet legendary Surf town of Sayulita, makes this one of the most beautiful drives in the entire State of Nayarit and one of our most popular tours.
Once there, discovering the quaint fishing village and secret surfing destination that is Sayulita is truly one of the most exciting natural adventures in the country.
The majestic Bay of Banderas is world renown by water enthusiasts. It is Mexico’s largest and one of the world’s deepest bays. At recorded depths of more than 3,000 feet, it offers exceptional sailfish, marlin and tuna sport fishing and is home to dolphins, manta rays and even seahorses. From November through March it is a nursery for humpback whales and from June through December, to Olive Ridley turtles.
Sayulita’s warm water and year round surfing attracts people of all ages to surf its friendly waves. The town itself is full of young, vibrant energy, which makes it a fun place to visit.
We’ll stop so that you can enjoy the exclusive beach nestled in the gentle palm-lined bay and surf the waves for an hour of carefree fun.
Later, you’ll view native art and authentic attractions.
On our return, the tour will make a stop at the spectacular Crocodile Farm that works with the Mexican Department of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources. Here you can safely observe Crocodiles in their own habitat.
Last, we’ll visit a Raisilla distillery for a delicious tasting and learn about the traditional ways of making this notable, homegrown version of tequila that has been savored by locals and surfers, but only recently become known elsewhere.
You will come back with a sun -kissed tan and one of the most exotic and unforgettable travel memories of your life.
