Driving through the magnificent mountains of the “Sierra Madre Occidental” you will be able to find a 17th century mining town named San Sebastian: a small village founded by Spaniards and surrounded by a full variety of vegetation including coffee plants (extracted and fully processed by inhabitants). This enchanted town still has its rustic appearance of white houses, red roofs, streets paved in stones, beautiful green areas and memories.
Departing from Puerto Vallarta, we will visit La Estancia where we will see a Raicilla distillery.
Once we arrive in San Sebastian we will visit the 20th century organic coffee factory, where the tour guide will show you the complete process from coffee beans to coffee packages followed down generation to generation.
Having enriched our knowledge, we will take a walk into the town’s heart to visit “Museo de Doña Conchita” (miscellaneous and family memories) and the San Sebastian Church, then we will proceed to have lunch at ‘Lupita’s Restaurant’ with a full variety of exquisite Mexican plates.
