Marine turtles have been able to survive for more than 200 million years and successfully faced such dramatic events in the history that brought countless species to extinction. Nowadays however, due to human activities, they belong to some of the most endangered species of fauna.
The tour goes to visit the turtle camp located at Nuevo Vallarta, to learn about the National Protection of Marine Turtles and to release baby turtles. The tour initiates with talk about the turtles and the importance of their protection. Then we visit the nursery, nests and all the turtle camp. We take a look on all the baby turtles that were born during the day. Then we take a walk on the beach looking for a female laying eggs. At the end we release baby turtles.
